Project Controls (based in Bridgwater): Develop process and training documents, produce reports, and assist with the running of an Earned Value Management (EVM) pilot programme.

The research & developing department of this company is based at their Bristol site, and the successful student would be based within the manufacturing department. The company manufactures rings, which are radial spring fasteners that are press fitted between two mating components, generating a retention force that fixes those components together, amongst other functionalities.

The role offers a student to work closely with the Manufacturing Engineer, and depending on current projects, an opportunity to work with Production and Quality Engineers.

The role may also offer varied work, such as office and shop-floor / bench work. The student will be required to operate various measurement equipment as well as shop floor machinery - full training will be provided!

It is a great opportunity to identify areas for improvement, providing possible solutions, and assisting in carrying out the new improved processes!
